What is the amount of remounter’s product liability insurance carried by the remounter?

Foster Coach has $5,000,000.00 product liability for your protection. Ask to see a copy of the remounter product liability insurance certificate.

Is the remounter Ford QVM certified?

Foster Coach is QVM certified, assuring that your remount will be performed in accordance with the stringent guidelines of the QVM program. Adherence to these guidelines minimizes the potential for warranty issues and also serves to protect you in the event of an accident and/or legal action. Request proof of this requirement!

Can the remounter supply you with references?

Foster Coach has a large number of satisfied customers it can offer as references, providing you with the peace of mind that your investment is safe.

Is a comprehensive written warranty (including a paint warranty) available?  Who provides this warranty? 

Foster Coach provides a detailed written warranty on all remount projects. All paint and body repairs are performed in-house. Very few claims have ever been made on our remounted units.

Is the remounter a dealer or prior dealer for the module brand being remounted, offering quick access to parts and knowledgeable service support?

Foster Coach is a current Horton and Medix dealer, as well as a former MedTec dealer. A substantial parts inventory is available for MedTec, even though the manufacturer is no longer in business. Foster Coach was a MedTec dealer for 28 years and knows the product extensively, both inside and out.

Does the remounter have its own on site body shop and paint repair facility, OR is this work “farmed” out?

Foster Coach has its own body shop with four specially trained remount/body technicians.

Is the remounter registered with NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)? 

Always request proof. ​​​If the business is not registered, they are in violation of the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Laws.

Schedule a visit to the remount facility and the body shop to ensure these facilities are capable of providing quality workmanship and repairs.  Always look for a remounter that specializes in ambulances.  A remount is a sizable investment for any EMS provider, that when performed correctly, will be a part of your fleet for many years.  Always invest wisely and be sure you are getting your money’s worth!
